Close results were the order of the day in the first leg of the President’s Cup semifinal this past weekend.
Charlo Mclean scored in the 71st minute to give Bodden Town a 1-0 victory over Cayman Athletic in a keenly contested match up.
Cayman Athletic have a chance to rebound because of the low-scoring affair this Sunday in the second leg at the Annex.
Four goals were scored in a thrilling match up between Sunset F.C. and Roma United. Paul Hennessey opened the scoring for in the 24th giving Sunset the halftime advantage.
After the break, Roma found their groove and were rewarded in the 63rd when Gawayne Speed hit the target. Roma surged ahead nine minutes letter when Ziecko Herrera scored the goal ahead goal.
Sunset showed their fighting spirit and Christopher Turrel earned his club a share of the spoils in the 85th.
Two final spots are up for grabs this Sunday when the teams meet again at the Annex.
