GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands – With places in the final and two tickets to the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup at stake, the 2014 CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship semifinals will be played Friday at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex.

In the opener, at 4:00pm ET, Mexico will be looking to clinch its sixth World Cup berth, when it takes-on Costa Rica.

The two-time defending champion United States, which is the only CONCACAF side to qualify for all six previous editions of the FIFA event, will close the evening against Trinidad & Tobago at 7:00 p.m. ET.

The semifinal winners – with reservations to Canada already secured — will meet on Sunday to decide the title.

Earlier that same day, the semifinal losers will square off in the match for third place, looking to claim the confederation’s last spot at the FIFA event.
